STAG

The STAG framework

What is STAG:

STAG is an acronym for Strategy, Transformation, Action (or Agile) and Governance, these are the foundational building blocks of our framework. After doing research and having experience in the industry, it was clear to us that enterprise architecture (EA) remains one of the most misunderstood and overcomplicated fields.

Our goal:

Many companies focus heavily on developing a strong strategy, believing it to be the key to success. However, despite having a well-crafted strategy, they often struggle with aligning and transforming their enterprise to match this strategy. This is where enterprise architecture (EA) comes in, offering a structured approach to this alignment. Yet, EA can be complex and difficult to grasp for many organizations.

Companies struggle to have a coherent plan of actions without EA

Frameworks like Zachman, TOGAF and NIST EAM are often considered complex and are widely regarded in the literature as unsuitable for small to medium enterprises (and sometimes even larger ones). Our model addresses this issue by simplifying EA, making it easy to understand and implement. By streamlining the process, we help companies effectively translate their strategies into actionable results without getting bogged down by complexity.
